The Fall of X brings back the Uncanny Avengers for another series

THE FALL OF X will be a major turning point for the X-Men franchise, with massive changes to the ongoing X titles and the launch of several exciting new series! The devastating events of the Hellfire Gala and the tragic circumstances of FALL OF X call for the return of the Uncanny Avengers.

In August, the Avengers’ Unity Squad returns in a new series of UNFORGETTABLE AVENGERS written by Gerry Duggan and drawn by Javier GarrĂ³n. Innocent people and world leaders are dead after simultaneous attacks on the US and Krakow governments, which means one thing: it’s time for a new group of Avengers.

False flag attacks intended to stir up anti-mutant hysteria unfold and hey, some of Steve Rogers’ best friends are mutants. Marvel’s new unity team consists of Captain America, Rogue, Deadpool, Quicksilver, Psylocke, and Penance. This powerful new team must solve the mystery of who the new murderous Captain Krakoa is and prevent his team of assassins from fanning the flames of a new world war.

“Everything we’ve been working towards in our third act is coming to a head this summer,” Duggan told fans in a video message during Marvel Unlimited’s X-Men: 60 Uncanny Years live virtual event. “The Uncanny Avengers are there to exemplify unity between humanity and mutantdom, and they’re going to have to work extra hard at that now that relationships and friendships have frayed during the events of FALL OF X.”
